Senior Photos of Kristen

This is part two in a series of locations we did for Kristen’s senior photos. You can see her first session with us here.

The Oregon coast held special memories for her so she decided to have her senior photos taken there. We actually scheduled it earlier in the month but the weather was not conducive (rainy and windy – go figure). Besides coordinating both of our schedules we had to coordinate good weather, a very low (minus) tide and the position of the sun. That’s asking a lot, but fortunately we pulled it off.

The lighting was very harsh that day and we did what we could to work around it. The old coastal fort that remained there was an amazing location to work in. When my wife and I were there about a month ago on vacation I mentioned how great it would be to photograph a high school senior here – my wish came true.

Kristen is one of those people that always seem to have a smile on her face, and you can certainly see in these images. She attended David Douglas High School in Portland, OR.

Senior Photos of Hailey

Hailey attends Vancouver's Columbia River High School. Even though it was not quite as warm as we would have liked for her senior photo session at the Riverfront she did a great job and stuck it out. When she came in to place her order we heard that we totally exceeded her expectations, and that is what we always strive for. Thanks Hailey for the opportunity to do your senior photos!

Senior Photos of Jeffrey

Jeffrey has plans to be a professional chef. So we made a few phone calls and pulled some strings to find a commercial kitchen to photograph him in. We also took him to one of our favorite Washington Parks, which offered us some beautiful fall colors and amazing light. Jeffery attends Skyview High School here in Vancouver, WA.

Senior Photos of Mackenzie

Mackenzie is the cousin of Jack who we photographed some months earlier. She chose to our Urban/Industrial Vancouver location for her photo session.

Her dog Bogie made a great addition to the photo shoot. Her boyfriend had no plans to be in any of the photos but we thought otherwise and included him anyway.

I hope she had as great of time having her senior photos taken as we had making them for her. Mackenzie is a graduate of Camas High School.
